A French voiceover for an explanatory video produced for the Pole Métropolitain Nantes – St-Nazaire, in the Loire Atlantique region of France.
The technique used here is “white board animation”. This technique consists of representing what the voice-over is saying with felt-tip drawings on a whiteboard. Along with motion design, it’s one of the most widely used graphic techniques for instructional videos, tutorials, corporate films and sales videos. Whiteboard animation makes it possible to explain complex concepts simply and clearly. In fact, it’s an effective way of schematizing the various points raised. This makes it easier to understand and assimilate the information. What’s more, it adds a playful touch to the video. The text, although sometimes technical, seems clearer and more accessible thanks to the illustrations. This technique is almost always accompanied by a voice-over. This type of video is becoming increasingly popular with communications agencies and their clients.
In this video, I present the action plan of the Pole Métropolitain Nantes – St-Nazaire. It focuses on four main points. Mobility, economic development, support for urban projects and environmental protection. The actions will be carried out between now and 2020. To find out more, I invite you (if you haven’t already) to watch the video above. Log on to the Pole Métropolitain Nantes St-Nazaire website, to find out more about these projects, and the various actions being carried out around Nantes and St-Nazaire.
For the recording of this French voiceover explenatory video, I had to present the project clearly, in an assertive and serious voice, but still smiling and dynamic.
